TORI TAPHORN
Tori’s yoga practice began while she was in University, initially as a way to find more physical activity while living the sedentary lifestyle of a student. But as time went on, she continued practicing and she started to see and feel the benefits of yoga, and it quickly became part of her everyday life. Now as a school teacher, Tori finds her time on the mat to be essential in maintaining a balanced energy for herself and all of her students. Teaching yoga seemed to be a natural progression in her career, and one that she is eager to share with others.
Tori completed her 200hr training in BC in the summer of 2023, and is trained in Hatha and Vinyasa; her classes focus on cultivating a connection between breath, movement, and body awareness. Her goal is to assist students in finding balance on the mat, so that over time they can carry their practice with them outside of the studio.
