SARAH CHAN

Sarah 100-YTT (or Miss Sarah, as she is affectionately known to her piano students) arrived to yoga after 10 years of pilates, following a motor vehicle accident. Practice offered the opportunity to quiet the mind and coax her body into relaxation which, has opened up exciting and unexpected spaces for awareness and wellness in body, mind, and life.

She typically runs an all-level flow, incorporating Vinyasa into postures promoting grounded strength and mobility, with a more restorative approach to the latter part of the flow—To steady the heart and further focus the mind. Be prepared for playful exploration (feeling free in your body should be fun) and always learning something about yourself, every practice.

Outside of practice, Sarah is a musician, teacher, writer, publisher, small business owner, social advocate, and mother of two teenagers.
